The Word of the Cross

1 Corinthians 1:18 – For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

What is the word of the cross?  It is that Jesus (who together with God the Father and the Holy Spirit is one God) took up human flesh and blood, becoming true man as well as True God.
